community cultural exchange

Dear awesome website creator,

As you can see our website is in need of some TLC!! We need a super laid back and creative volunteer out there in the Philadelphia ether that can help us!!! We do cool stuff (you should attend our events too) and have a lot of fun, it’s just that we’re all volunteers and our website gets pushed to the end of our “to do” list after the work and play is done!! You mostly just have to post pics of our events and I will write whatever text is needed! (Word Press is not my forte!) We are registered 501(c)3 and can also offer internship credit:) Please contact: communityculturalexchange@gmail.com if you are interested!!

At the next three EXCHANGE events the Community Cultural Exchange will be collecting blankets (good condition please) for Philly’s homeless. We will deliver these blankets directly to those in need! If you can’t make an EXCHANGE, but want to donate a blanket, please e-mail: communityculturalexchange@gmail.com for drop-off/pick-up arrangements!!  Blankets can also be dropped off at The Curiousity Shoppe, 525 S 4th St. Philadelphia, PA, 19147.  p: 215.413.2301 Open 7 days a week 12-7pm.

We are happy to report as of Febuary 1, 2009, the CCE  has distributed 75 blankets!!! THANK YOU CCE volunteers, donors, and groups who have helped make this project a success. Way to create community!!!
